Do you offer in-person sessions?
I am currently offering online sessions only, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. I am a registered LPC Associate in the state of Oregon, thus I am legally only able to work with clients who currently reside in Oregon.
Is online therapy as effective and what does it look like?
Most clients have found online therapy to be just as helpful as when meeting in person. Online sessions can offer a new level of convenience, and many appreciate the ease of connecting from the comfort of their own homes. Online therapy works best when you are able to find a private and quiet space for sessions. This could even mean inside your parked car, or another safe and comfortable location. It may take some time to figure out what works best for you.
What is your fee?
My fee is $125 for a 60 minute individual therapy session, and $150 for a 75 minute couples session. I have a limited number of sliding scale spaces available for folks who are experiencing sociopolitical marginalization and/or financial hardship. Please inquire about current sliding scale availability. I accept credit cards, and payment is due at the beginning of each session.
What happens during our free 20 minute consultation?
This is a time for us both to assess if I am the right therapist for you. I will ask you to share what you are hoping to get support with at this time. This is also a chance for you to ask about how I work and determine if my offering is in resonance with what you are seeking. I also consider the first few sessions as a period in which we get to assess if it feels like a good fit for both of us. Sometimes this process can take some time!

What is your current availability?
Generally I work Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, in the late morning and afternoon.
How frequently do we meet?
Consistency is a very important component of the therapeutic process. I meet with clients on a weekly basis. Together we will decide upon a specific day and time that works for both of us.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule our appointment for any reason, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance via text or email. Sessions that are not cancelled within the 24 hour window will be charged the full fee.
Do you accept insurance?
As I am still working toward full licensure, I am not able to accept insurance. If you have the option for reimbursement through insurance or a health savings account, I am happy to provide you with a monthly itemized receipt for services.
