Saturday, March 30, 2019, 7-9 pm. North Portland Yoga, Portland, OR. Register online here.

This experience is an invitation to enter into your own essence, deeply connect with your body through yoga and ethereal sound vibration; to release, soften, unwind, envision and meditate. Allison Riegel will lead us through a deeply nourishing sequence of long-held Yin poses, as Kady Monroe serenades us with entrancing, luscious sounds of seven Crystal Singing Bowls.

Yin yoga is often compared to acupuncture and self-massage in its capacity to move stuck energy through the body. Prepare to potentially let go of unhelpful blockages and stored tension as we enter into the realm of Being rather than doing.

Allison is a yoga therapist and holistic chef with a passion for connecting psyche and body. Her classes and personal therapeutic work encourage the exploration of deep listening, slowness, and fluid expression of movement. She has most recently been interested in how dreams and their guidance relate to somatic practices. (bodyceremony.com)

Kady Monroe is a fairy spirt, a loving heart! She is an artist, mover, and musician who specializes in Yin and Restorative yoga. The sound of her voice will transform your being! (softworldrising.com)

Please register online or at the desk (very likely this event will sell out, and as such we strongly encourage registering online to save your spot), sliding scale $25-40. We offer these events on a sliding scale to encourage folks to pay what they are honestly able to do, and in that way our offerings can be as accessible as possible while remaining an equitable exchange between teacher, student, and studio. Please plan on arriving ten minutes early, we will be locking the front door as close to start time as we are able to.
